If we make the playoffs by one point, lose to every other team, and only beat the Oilers this entire season in the regular season, I’ll take that.

I absolutely can’t stand the Oilers, come out and beat them down, hard on the walls, forecheck the shit out of them today.

Just win

Yeah I remember you said you were in McNeill and I asked you about the Willie Mitchell sign hahahahaha.

I miss the island.
I was actually in Port Hardy when he brought the cup back to Port McNeill after winning it in 2012 but I didn't bother joining everyone at the bar where he was showing it off.

Overall, Port Hardy and Port McNeill have very different vibes, I much prefer Port Hardy.

I love both but ye, they feel way different.

Port Alice is my fave of the triport towns tho.

Jeff Skinner's name is already coming up in trade rumors......and Arvidsson has one goal in 13 games. And Canucks fan favorite Vasily Podkolzin hasn't scored a single goal but is still getting second line duty with Leon Draisaitl.

Their blueline is looking suddenly porous, and the goalie 'Skinner' is back to letting in at least one stinker a night.

At some point the spin-doctors and sycophants are going to reach the same conclusion--this just isn't the same Oiler team as a year ago.

Rid of youth, speed, potential for overpaid old, often injured. Not really a good call all too often. Canucks will make a meal of this though. Lol.

If ever we needed a solid home win, it's tonight.

It's against the team that turfed us out of the playoffs, McDavid is back (which is a good thing), Boeser is unfairly sidelined again with an injury, and the last home game vs. the Devils was for the crapper. The fans deserve a good one.

GO CANUCKS GO !!! :towel:

The Boeser reports have me cautiously optimistic he won't be out too long. Feel if it was a bad concussion they wouldn't need to be evaluating him still.

Probably feels "off" and sore, but no major headaches, etc. But of course with a shot like that, he could still be out a month so we won't know anything until he's back.

That 4th line looks...uneventful at best.

Looking forward to some of the "game within the game" elements tonight. Miller or Petey vs McDavid. I'd probably start with Miller vs Drai, see if HBK can handle McDavid, then let Petey go vs Chicken Nugget. And Quinn gets 52 minutes.

Let's go!

Looked to me like he took most of that shoulder check from Jeannot on his chin, rather than the head. Thing you worry about is a fractured jaw. But that doesn't appear to be the case.

The Canucks are using an abundance of caution. But pretty sure Brock will be back sometime during this six-game homestand.

You will literally not meet someone who hates the Oilers more than me. Long story of its origin but I’ve hated them more than any other sports team ever. When Florida won the cup I celebrated almost as if we had won. Bunch of f***ing baby fans crying about the refs every play. I read every single one of their GDTs after they lose. There was a while where Soucy / Zadarov folding McDavid like a lawn chair was my screen wallpaper.

All that said they are due for a win. We are due for a loss. They have David back and we lose Boeser.

Don’t like our chances.

I don’t wish any injuries for the Oilers, but everything else I just absolutely can’t stand, they are so f***ing overrated. It’s crazy.

They had one of the most legendary runs by the best player in the world in the playoffs and still lost.

The fanbase is so incredibly annoying, it’s downright nauseating.

I hope we absolutely destroy them today, and all season.

heck
Pettersson needs to play like a 1st liner with Boeser out. He's only on pace for 14 goals, and one of his two goals maybe shouldn't have counted as his goal.

And yes, I know how ridiculous it sounds to be saying this about an $11.5M player...
