While it's nice to have someone who can win face offs in the short term vs Aman who hasn't been good in that regard it's also about grooming a bottom 6C that can eventually play heavy high leverage minutes and be able to chip in offensively.
Obviously pulling a player up and down is not ideal but in this case it works with almost zero travel issues. For Raty it's good that he keeps getting challenged by the speed. I dont think he's lacking in confidence and skill. It's really a matter of whether he can keep up. A few short term carrots/tasters is probably good for him to keep pushing his pace of play vs getting complacent or too used to the AHL game.
So much of our potential to improve the team is banked into Raty Lekkerimaki and Willander filling top6W top4RD and 3C. If they work out and Pettersson Demko can get back to being impact players then were cooking with gas....if not were gonna keep bleeding assets and face cap restrictions that exasperate that
