They could have been rollingRight now the Ducks are using McTavish, Zegras and Carlson down the middle. and all of them are 23 and under. I realize there's such a thing as 'learning on the job' but seems to me all the Ducks will do is ruin their development.
And looking around the Honda Centre.......the barn looked half empty. Maybe the election had something to do with it, but this franchise isn't in a very good place right now.
What the Quinn Hughes. That is insane.
Small sample at this point but they’re running a 57% CF/xGF rate together. Even if they fall back down to earth a bit, that’s a great third line cobbled together with $5 million/year in UFA contracts. That Blueger-Sherwood-Heinen line is looking great.
Play with drive and pace, support each other well on the rush.

Need to keep that together even after Joshua comes back. That Blueger-Sherwood-Heinen line is looking great.

Credit to Cook Allvin for finding some spice after the Desharnais/Forbort signings were looking to be mistakes. But we do have the problem where, if injuries stack up, we'll have half our blueline be very slow defensemen who can't move the puck fast. Given how well Brannstrom has fit, maybe Allvin overreacted to losing Z...Through 6 games the Desharnais and Brannstrom pair has an XGF% of around 70. I know he's been a bit of a whipping boy and the contract value is meh but Desharnais/Brannstrom has worked far better than any other bottom pair and I think Desharnais is pretty clearly one of the top 6 defenceman on the team.
