Wasn't there a moment when Miller and Horvat started to beak at each other as they went off the ice and Garland had to skate between them like a golden retriever getting two aggressive cats to settle down?

And to think we could’ve had Lundkvist, Chytil, and a 1st right now… Can’t believe we’re stuck with this bozo locker room cancer.

Right now J.T. Miller is making $8m a season and Pettersson is signed for $11.6m. Is Pettersson worth $3.6m more a season than Miller.? Not a chance.

J.T. is the ultimate competitor and wears his heart on his sleeve. He won't stand for anyone lollygagging it in practice, particularly not from a guy who's supposed to be a leader on the team.

I can almost guarantee one thing. J.T. will never get into a testy exchange in practice with Quinn Hughes.

Nah. I think they will wear them enough to keep people buying them. Teams know a segment of the fanbase still likes the skate. Same with some LA fans that like the Gold/Purple look. Even some Sabres fans like the black/red combo.
Aka the non-visually impaired segment.:sarcasm:

JT Miller has a notoriously short fuse and somehow Pettersson is automatically the problem here?

Some serious brain rot has invaded this place.

Millers peak is a 8-9m player, Peteys peak is a 11-12m player.

It’s also a major who cares moment. Team members inevitably get feisty with each other over the course of a year. You spend so much time together it’s going to happen, and both guys have shown a propensity to get physical when someone pisses them off (Miller to a lot more effective degree).

As others have pointed out, Garland and Joshua literally fought each other last year

Practicing with an edge is fine as long as you don’t let it bleed into out of practice stuff.

yeah but let's not kid ourself

At peak, EP is our best forward

At age 23, he reached a level that JT probably would never be able to

In terms of pure skill to score? Sure, but JT is a superior player over all. EP might of already had his best season as well.

I’d say you’re in the minority. EP at his best is better offensively and defensively, overall, than JT. I also doubt he’s had his best season. But I do agree EP seems like he’s missing that competitive mental edge.

What is with this hate boner that you have brother.
Hi,
Im sorry it comes off as hate. That is not my intention.

I only use my experience in my professional career to come to conclusions. I manage 40+ staff and many are managers, supervisors and 3 VP"s.

Wage expectations and internal budgets also come with performance expectations. I am just wired this way.

With a salary cap so many of your players have to meet or exceed expectations. I like him as a player, but to me he is a complimentary players more often than the 11.6M dollar he is being paid to be.

If he was paid 8M id be silent, but that extra 3.6 comes with a LOT of expectations.

are you just ignoring JT millers early mid 20s he wasn’t the player you see now lol
What was his salary and what were the expectations for him? Was he the highest paid player on the team?
