If the rules and conditions are the same for all teams, Canada shouldn't get any special treatment. I don't blame Canada though, I blame the IIHF, the Olympic Commitee or whoever is in charge. If Canada is whining for special treatment just say NO.

Nice to see that Canada is getting some consideration after being screwed by the IIHF for years. Remember when the NHL players were considered to be proffesionals and the Soviets were considered amateurs when their only job was to play hockey?

That happened to every other Country in every sport.
