You can select right after Florida if you'd like Number Eight, followed by Caey.

Weird pick with the 5th overall... :sarcasm:

He auto picked 3 D for me... the exact opposite of what I was planning to draft.

Now I have too many D prospects:

Jared Cowen
David Rundbland
Patrick Wiercioch
Dougie Hamilton
Dmitri Orlov
Vladimir Mihalik
Jonas Brodin
Jamie Oleksiak
Chris Wideman
Taylor Aronson

Wild Select Huberdeau Ninth, Adding to the Prospect Pool

Jonathan+Huberdeau+6.jpg

In an absolute steal of a pick, the Minnesota Wild are happy to welcome forward Jonathan Huberdeau to the Organization.

"As soon as we saw that Huberdeau was our pick, we we're thrilled!" General Manager CooperDean said Tuesday following the draft. "The weather is just so nice we all decided to go to the rink for a Shinny game, as soon as we realized we were missing the draft, we rushed back but didn't make it on time. I was certian Jonathan would be gone at Number 5 or 6. Thanks to all the GM's that made a mistake!"

:hawks make a blockbuster

]The Chicago Blackhawks have announced defenceman Brent Seabrook has been move to the Calgary Flames for Mikael Backlund, Mitch Wahl, Niklas Hagman and Nashville's 2011 1st.

:flames confirm. We gave up some nice future pieces in Backlund, Wahl and the 1st, but Seabrook is a top-notch defenseman who will play on our top-pairing.
