Last year's Stanley Cup winner just got better. We brought in Tanguay, Zubrus, Beauchemin and Leopold without hurting the team chemistry too much. We've got

Amazing top 6.
Great defence.
Depth all across.
One of the best goalie in the league.

We didn't do to much at the trade deadline, had a few deals lined up that fell through, we won't be very good this year, vote us low!

Zack Kassian has shown he is the ideal linemate for the Sedins. A monster in front of the crease, he drives the opposing team's defense and goaltender crazy, with some very adept hands to tip in oncoming Sedin/Edler shots.

Ryan Kesler and Alex Burrows - One of the NHL's great duos are back together, a defensive force, one 30 goal scorer, one 40 goal/40 assist scorer, combined with an elite offensive talent in Alexander Semin.

A revived 3rd line, one which earlier in the year was excelling when centered by Canucks prospect Jordan Schroeder. Brayden Schenn is one of the top young players in the NHL today and we feel he adds a whole new layer of offensive depth to this team.

Best 4th line in the league, 'nuff said.

Defense - Added Edler's ideal defensive partner, a natural right-side defender in Johnny Boychuk.

Vote Nucks. IMO, one of the deepest teams in the NHL.

That's a very good Canucks team.... I really liked the addition of Boychuck, very underrated and would be perfect for Edler. Also love the addition of Schenn, he should be very good in the future and should work well for the 3rd line for now.

Only thing I'm iffy on is Semin.... I'm not sure he's ideal for the Kesler/Burrows line. He's a bit shoot first and I'm not sure he'll succeed in the playoffs.

All in all, great job with 'Nucks!:yo:

edit: Putting a Garrison - Harrison line together would be awesome!

Tanev's play this year has been too strong to take him out for Harrison. I figure with the grind of the playoffs, it's a strong bet he'll get some minutes, and I'm glad to have a guy like him as a #7, better then most teams #5 and 6.

Semin is an adept playermaker, not necessarily a shootfirst. Both him and Kesler have 40 assist seasons under their belts. If we hit a bit of a slump we have the most versatile top 9 in the league. Burrows can come up to the Sedin line, Schenn/Semin could make up a deadly "3rd" line if you can call it that.

The Harrison - Garrison thing was just cause they rhyme....

A little bit late but just got the news...

St.Louis Blues add a depth piece that will be very valuable to our team going into the playoffs.

Center Dominic Moore agree to a 1 yr 1.5mil$ (500k in signing bonus included).

Dominic joins the team just pass the trade deadline and will play the reminding games of the season and play a key role to center the 4th line along with Vladimir Sobotka and Chris Stewart as winger forming by far the best 4th line in the league (lol at Nucks with the claim...Lapierre hahahaha)

Someone hasn't watched Lapierre's play in Vancouver...

Chris Stewart's lazy and uninspired play, combined with a knack for being terrible in his own zone is a PERFECT fit for the 4th line.
