You break up their neutral zone defense by capitalizing on even just one of those chances in the 2nd. Playing with the lead forces the other team to get more aggressive.

Passing has been terrible and they look slow. Kopitar sucks asssss today . And so does Muzzin. Pearson looks terrible and frustrating

Not sure I agree with this "effort" Stevens says he's happy with from yesterday's game. About the same effort this game.....lacking. Or maybe this level of effort is all you get with teams that don't have shit records.
