Couldn't win a faceoff

Well Kempe still can't win a face off (only one 2 last game, but 1 was important as Martinez converted). He is dead last in the NHL of players who have taken more than 50 draws at 25.9%. Unless he is scoring 2 points a game, he's not gonna last long taking draws at that rate.

i find it pretty hard to hold anyone responsible for losing faceoffs right now, it seems like the players don't even know the rules so they aren't making any sort of real moves

I need to clarify my point about Kempe, I didn't mean last long on the team, I mean as a center taking draws. I imagine, as they have been doing, they can have a winger take the draw for him. And the Kings just recalled Center Mike Amadio to boot.

Amadio was not called up to help Kempe take draws. More like trying him out on the 3rd line with Lewis and Cammy if he plays.

I don't get Shore at all. Sometimes he shows some offensive promise and at times he's skating around like a ballerina. The Amadio call-up should make him worry about his roster spot.

He's completely miscast in a strictly offensive role, frankly. He's a fantastic player but he's being put in way over his head.
