FUKKKK. That's the best effort I've seen from the Kings all year, busting azz from trying to stop a team score...infuriating.

Now I'm going to be so stressed out tomorrow, watching NJ trying to win in Carolina??? Can we really expect NJ to have half the effort the Kings put in tonight?

All these tanking nightmares are coming back to haunt me...a flashback to just getting a 60 inch screen and watching TB lose late in a game, 11 freaking years ago this week -
and giving them Stamkos...I probably lost 3 years life expectancy watching that one....but at least there was Doughty to the Kings.
If the Kings lose out on Hughes and Kakko...it drops off. Shttt. if the Kings end up with Turcotte, Cozens, or Byram, they are required
to be as good as Hughes and Kakko now. Cuz the Kings are screwing this up.

yeah this reminds me of the 09 draft. tavares and hedman were the clear 1 and 2, and guys like duchene, kane, schenn, oel, and kadri were a clear second tier.

I would rather lose the game 0-10 and have a better % shot at Hughes or Kakko frankly than a meaningless win that nobody will remember next year except as an in-game trivia question.

I guess that the extra 1.234 pct might make the difference between 2nd and 3rd in the draft order, even when a team finishing outside the bottom 5 could win it just as LA could. The Flyers went from 11th to 2nd a few years ago, so a win against the Cryotes won't make a damn difference.

Great comparison. My feeling is if we don't get one of the first two picks it will be exactly like 09. Oh wells we've only had one 1st overall maybe the hockey Gods will grant us one this time around.

Btw the top five of this draft has franchise caliber players. I know you guys wanted the best odds, as we obviously do but really I'm happier because it helps the Avs secure a playoff spot. I think LA can retool alot faster than you think. Btw don't sleep on Dach, Byram and Turcotte those are pieces with sky high potential.
