Sherwood nice shot nice work boys fooken eh need more avs will be coming at us

Lmao I wonder how hilarious it would’ve been if we still had the Grizzlies and we get to see Ja Morant and his antics

Another point for Sasson.

Debrusk has had a weird year. It's felt underwhelming and the ES numbers aren't great but in the end 26 goals for a $5 million UFA signing is pretty decent.

He hasn't had the high motor, dig in the corners mentality I was hoping for at ES, but his numbers are pretty in line with what he was doing last year at ES. Given the cap increase, contract is going to look very good for a second line UFA player.

I know the hope was that they'd go up when he played with 1st line talent, but...no one's been at that level all year  If Petey rebounds next year I'm sure his numbers will climb as well, even if they aren't together full-time.

Yeah, the context of the 26 goals improves when you consider that Pius Suter is our highest scoring C with 45 points. The thought was that he'd score 30 with Miller or Pettersson and 26 ain't bad when you consider the pathetic return we got from the two star Cs this year.

Per the discussion on Raty's skating : it ain't pretty but look how fast he gets up the ice on that play to create a passing option/distraction for the goalie.

He’s always been able to get where he needs to go. Now it looks like the game has slowed down enough for him that he can identify where he needs to be much faster.

Big feathers in the developmental department’s cap if Raty and Junior can keep getting better and be regulars next season. Even more feathers if Sasson and Karlsson can stick with the team too as depth pieces.

Joshua-Raty-Sherwood has been our best line as of late.

I wonder if Allvin thinks about moving Garland. I see nothing wrong with that being our 3rd line next year.

Like I said in the other thread, his play since this last callup is reminding me a bit of Nick Bonino. The stride is never ever going to be pretty but he's moving his feet, the first steps are way quicker, and he's getting to where he needs to get to to be effective.

There were multiple times every game last year in the AHL where I was like 'oh, man ... that was painful' to see how his skating kept him from getting to where he needed to be or getting to a puck or a player. That isn't happening at all in these 10 games despite a much faster overall level of play and better competition.
