Hearing there will be a Bruins rep in Baie-Comeau today to watch Desnoyers and another in Brantford tomorrow watch O'Brien.

Don't know who is on which list right now. The "reserved seating" just says "Boston Bruins"

I don’t have one yet. Its too early for me.

I think the top two are pretty clear. After that, for me it will be Hagens, and then I don’t know.

I think that’s right about the top 2.

I really like Frondell and Hagens for a next ‘tier.’

Then honestly I see a lot of players that have qualities I really like until ~12. With some players at the top of that group. Desnoyers, Martone, and Eklund as pretty clear front runners in that group.

Then I think there’s nice upside players until the low to mid 20s.

Introduced myself to Bill Zonnon last night and he’s such an interesting player. He looks huge in the Q. His skating motion is pretty funky but he flies out there. Has put up basically just as many points as Desnoyers. I wonder what other people think of him.

I have seen all of their games on video. Along with Frondell, Hagens, McQueen.

I see the humor here but I am very concerned that Bruins will do something exactly like this, that is how much I distrust this management group.

At draft spots 5-8 I think we need a scoring winger or a shoot first centre ...so that's Martone, Frondell or Ecklund if they are available. My preference in Frondell, Martone then Ecklund. Pasta does not need an uber creative play making centre...he creates plenty on his own...2 way centre E.L. will be fine for the next few years. Casey M. is creative so maybe he plays to his potential next year and for a few years after at 2nd C. ..if we get Frondell then Casey is gone. 3rd C has Minten written all over it. Not sure what to do with Poitras, he isn't 4th C material typically.

My wish is for them to draft high again next year and get, depending on who they get this year, another high end kid. Draft one of each each year. The. You can do something in feee agency. The problem I see with signing guys this year is that everyone wants to get set up with long term contracts. That’s going to handcuff the team. We are already complaining about this years duos. Add another two, things get ugly quick. Draft again and you start to develop the future crop. You really don’t have a good crop now, hence the free agency direction.

Keep Desnoyers away from Boston, bruins need high end offensive talent.
Desnoyers is a physical 2 way threat but his offence seems to have limited offensive upside compared to the rest.

At this point I’m done with drafting only the 2 way reliable guys we have so many and it has not translated to much success.
The era of hard nosed teams are over the 2011 and 2019 blues were the last of those types of teams,the rest have all been high skill teams with lots of talent. Aka manipulate the LTIR before TD.

I either want
Hagens and his speed, playmaking
Frondell with his IQ and elite shot
Martone with his puck protection and quick hands in tight.

If bruins want a 2 way player trade for another 1st and select Martin or Spence or cootes or better yet just get a shutdown dman that does his job correctly like fiddler or amico.

I’m pretty confident if the draft order stays briere will take Desnoyers you look at the build of their core offence it’s pretty much all 2 way or high energy guys (konecny/ cates/ couts/ foerster/ brink/ Tippett ) same with recent draft pick luchanko they seem to have a type. Mitchkov was a one off because no way they were gonna pass up on that opportunity.

I don't see it the same way as you.He is very smart and plays the centre position the way it should be played which is responsible.He is not some tight gripped stick player like you describe either with 84 pts in 56 games & 35 goals.If Bruins get him we should be very happy.

I think people who have already hard coded a list based on other people’s lists from a month or three ago are being premature.

Just because someone like O’Brien was later in January than now doesn’t mean someone taking him in the top five in June is a “reach”.

I think it's a reach with players that can and should go ahead of him right now if we are talking top 5 .Again just my take.If Bruins go away from consensus top 5 this time it better be fking homerun because excuses will not wash.

To be fair even before the draft position adjustment OBrien was already considered a candidate as the best playmaking C in the draft it's just likely going to take him longer to cook and be NHL ready compared to the guys previously ranked ahead of him who could step in sooner but might have lower potential in areas of need over the span of their respective careers (depending on each teams individual needs) . Not making my opinion on him yet as I have just started really digging into the player.

I'm leaning towards Frondell so far if Misa/Schafer/Hagens doesn't work out. But I'm preparing for something weird to happen because it's just been that kind of season.
