How can one team be so inconsistent?
 
We had five who played less than 10 minutes this afternoon. Pretty shitty ice time distribution.

Reider with 9:30 TOI
Clifford with 7:00 TOI
LaDue with 8:30 TOI
Mitchell with 9:00 TOI
Iafallo with 9:00 TOI
 
Gave up 2 SH goals to NJ this year, a PP goal, and 5 ES goals. Scored just 1 ES goal themselves.

Quick gave up 8 goals on 54 shots, for a sv% of .852.

The +/- was:

Everyone sucked against NJ this year. Basically nobody was immune to being out there for a goal against.

Get down early, still trying to win the game, and some guys showed up less than others that didn't show up.

They had a ton of PP’s early and were down 2 most of the game. Obviously not going to play Mitchell, Reider and Clifford a ton when looking for goals.
 
Aside from Quick, and when Doughty starts throwing a fit, there’s a general lack of emotion with this team. I don’t see any intensity or sense of urgency. They just seem so ho-hum and indifferent.

I keep thinking that it's obvious that it can't be true, it's not real, it's just a thing you say, but they really did sell their soul for the 2014 run. Teams don't do all of the things they did. Teams rarely do just one of the things they managed to do. Some things they did have never been done. They even scored with the crowd chanting we want the Cup. It's ridiculous.

Set financially. They've got their families. They've got their Cups. You don't want to say professional success ruined them, because that's dumb, and I'm just a fan, and certainly don't know what it's like to get paid millions to do anything, but a lot of guys on the team don't have a lot left to play for I guess. Outside of a major injury, even Doughty knows he's going to get a giant contract, one way or another.

all but guaranteed this team won't show up unless they get their normal start time on the normal channel against the opponent's true 1G
