I could be wrong but last year we had an almost identical road trip but earlier in the season and it ended up being the defining part of the season.
We went 5-1 or 6-0-1 or something like that EP and Hogz has fantastic goals against the rags, we blew away the Devil's and sabres on back to back I think? We beat the Islanders can't remember the other teams.

We get Demko back on this trip and both NY teams are very winnable games, the devil's are a mess, the jackets have two wins in seven and give up a ton of goals,
the blues game likely comes down to goaltending and binny is our bitch. Lastly we've seen the template to beat the jets but even a point would be great if we take care of business in the other five.

Long story short we can have a great trip.

It’s Game Day, folks.

Tocchet said it best after the Jets game......Canucks are heading out on the road to play some 'desperate teams' in loud hostile buildings. It'll be really like a playoff atmosphere, before the playoffs.

I hope Garland is back. He's the ultimate 'silencer' for the Canucks with his relentless forecheck and non-stop motor. And he seems to save his most timely goals for these intense road-games.

Tocchet said it best up until you hear it from VanJack

Why break up the Hoglander - Pettersson - Boeser line? Especially when DeBrusk has a greater capacity to play on a grindy 2-way line and appears to have some chemistry with Sherwood?

Gotta juggle something. If it ain't lines, what the point....lol.

They really shouldn't. But Tocchet be Toccheting.

More or less. It's maddening, but clearly Tocc is seeing something I'm not. Every time Hog and Petey show signs of life together, he always splits them up becuase the 3rd guy has never got a f***ing clue what to expect when he gets out there and ends up on some f***ing island.

I’m old enough to remember when Vancouver wasn’t big enough for both Pavel Bure and David Duchovny.

I'm not that old, but my dad is and he talks about those times incessantly. I don't blame him.

But those days the likes of Bindy Johal and that f***ing asshole Pickton ran shit after dark, as well.

Hey, have you eaten human meat, Rev? Probably, statistically, other Rev. Just don't worry about it. Not your fault.

Pig meat? Ya, there was a big media blackout of details. Crabs, shrimp and prawns are all scavengers.

Way off topic.

Big night for all the bottom feeders hoping for some kind of good news.

That the Canucks are competing for the last playoff spot now, at this point of the players careers is a total lost season even if they manage to keep it close, it is so 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, well every year in the last decade not counting the shortened covid shut down gift.

It is so exciting they are playing to be in the top half of the league!!!!!!

I guess we are back to win one, lose one based on lineup decisions.

Assume Tocchet liked Karlsson's play and with Garland back, Lekk is the odd one out.

Not a great message considering this team badly needs scoring and Lekk will likely have to be a vital piece of the team next year.

While I thought Lekkerimaki was solid on the powerplay, he's been very ineffectual at even strength. With Chytil being out, Aman has a spot in the line-up. You aren't scratching Joshua or Sherwood for Lekkerimaki. Garland is obviously going to take a spot. Karlsson was a very good and has was just as good before he was sent down.

The bigger mystery is why Lekkerimaki is still in the NHL instead of playing a lot in Abbotsford.
