Looking forward to this one. Pretty hard to look at out top3 lines and see much of a formidable opponent but Hughes and how good our defence has been with 40 finally looking dangerous can tip things in our favour.

6 game roadie is gonna make or break us.....need stand out step up performances from the likes of Boeser Lekkerimaki Hoglander and Suter to continue to have any chance of coming back still holding down 8th place

Lankinen likely to let in 2 low danger goals against.

Billie Goal Gruff will be in peak 4 Nations mode, and is going to laugh in Boeser's face.

Tocchet will play the 5 man unit of BB-EP-JDB-QH-FH every second shift. But only in the 3rd. First 2 periods he'll give EP40 slightly less 5v5 ice time than Karlsson gets.

PK will be good though, going 6 for 7.

Then we get JTM followed by Quinn's personal kryptonite (NJD). Seasons done folks. No expectations = no disappointments.

Look, we all know how the Canucks roll. By seasonal definition, they must follow-up an effort like they had against the Jets with an absolute abomination of a hockey game.

Pretty well the season on the line tomorrow night in St. Loo. With the 'win', not only would the Blues go up by two points in the last wildcard race, but they'd be three wins ahead of the Canucks in the ROW category.

And looking at the schedules, they have far easier closing stretch of games than the Canucks. Obviously a loss won't 'eliminate' the Canucks. In Gary Bettman's world of three point games, the final nail in the coffin usually stretches into early April for a lot of 'bubble teams'.

But the playoff 'hill' turns into a 'mountain' for the Canucks with a regulation loss.

Watching Blues last game, McCarron leveled Buchnevich with a head shot and 2 blues immediately went after him, it was the much smaller Jake Neighbors who fought him. Every good team has a couple shit stirrers. St. Louis is at a massive disadvantage that their goalie is one.
