The funny thing is cancer research is closer to cures than this ppFor some reason very simple solutions to our PP might as well be as difficult as curing cancer for this team

Nicky i hear ya im just a little triggered/frustrated by watching how bad their legs lookedHockey is entertaining in big part because it's challenging. Part of that is the tough schedule. Sure they are hard on some players cardio vascular wise, not impossible though. The whole guaranteed loss thing is a little whiny and silly imo. People love to complain about everything and anything though. If they're so horrible the league should do away with them then I suppose.
We did kind of suck tonight, and overall we're mediocre.
Playoffs aren't happening. That 6 game road trip will seal their fate.I have a feeling St.Louis will be the team that gets in
It just hasn't been our year. Too many things from injuries, health issues and drama. This forward group just doesn't have enough drivers
It's difficult to be optimistic when you're never playing with a full deck, or you're trying to repair an engine with several of the most useful tools missing. The fact we are even in a playoff spot right now despite the absolute clown show this season has been is impressive.
Problem is last year team is still fresh in my mind.
Overall just a disappointing product on the ice and hard to be optimistic on the future.
It's a B2B with no travel. No real excuse. They go home after yesterday's game, normal routine, etc.Nicky i hear ya im just a little triggered/frustrated by watching how bad their legs looked
At the end of the day it's not really a excuse given the advantage also comes the Canucks way
I do wish the league would either make both teams play under B2Bs circumstances or not at all. I think the fans that paid for tickets get hosed

A lot of that was PP time.Hughes playing LITERALLY half the game
Come on Tochett
I mean, any of us last season would have said that he would have been a Canuck for at least the rest of his contract but sadly that didn't work out for us.Well yeah, if 3 seasons or whatever is a honeymoon, then sure. It really depends on your opinion of him. Up until whatever happened to this group it seemed like he had turned a corner with us and wouldn't be a "honeymoon" kind of player anymore. But perhaps whatever happened with him was inevitable too. I don't know.
I still think we'd somehow beat the Oilers in 7 only because it would be hilarious. The guys on the post-game show will obsess for the rest of the season about all the playoff permutations and calculations as things wind down. But big picture, what does it really matter?
It's hard to find a single team currently above them in the standings who they'd beat in a seven-game series. Sadly, the draft and the rest of the off-season is far important than whatever happens the rest of the way.
JT Miller was an absolute warrior in that series and did everything he could do to shut McDavid down.I still think we'd somehow beat the Oilers in 7 only because it would be hilarious.
What do you want them to talk about instead? Fantasy land off-season moves? The guys on the post-game show will obsess for the rest of the season about all the playoff permutations and calculations as things wind down. But big picture, what does it really matter?

Even being optimistic, this team has played over its head lately and even if we squeeze into the playoffs we just can't compete with the big boys in the west. The thing is baby, just look at this roster on paper right now, we have so many significant holes in our top six, it’s actually kind of crazy how we’re even in a playoff position right now.
I wanna be optimistic, but my Goodness
It’s because when Hughes is in the lineup the play is always just to defer to him instead of doing literally anything else. idk if it’s a Tocchet thing or a team mentality thing. Either way it’s dumb afi don't know if this team can sustain play to make the playoffs. they looked good before the break without hughes but since then they have hardly looked able to win a game without hughes being on. a lot of lost sheep and one very hard pressed shepherd.
lekkermaki may need to sit or go down. he is in danger of hoglandering out there.
It's obvious that Lekkermaki isn't ready yet, he is better off playing in Abby down the stretch and with our excess of wingers not moving Boeser at the deadline is looking really stupid right now.i don't know if this team can sustain play to make the playoffs. they looked good before the break without hughes but since then they have hardly looked able to win a game without hughes being on. a lot of lost sheep and one very hard pressed shepherd.

It's the way the roster is set up, there are too few playdrivers on the Canucks. It’s because when Hughes is in the lineup the play is always just to defer to him instead of doing literally anything else. idk if it’s a Tocchet thing or a team mentality thing. Either way it’s dumb af
