Post-Game Talk: GM 66 | Canucks def. Hawks | 6-2 (Hughes, Myers, Garland, EP40, Suter, Aman) | I’m blind, I’m deaf, I wanna be a ref!

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
You have 6 seasons of work before this admittedly bad stretch, and now he looks to be back on track. The 6 seasons have to mean more certainly lmao
Sure, I'm just not assuming anything. He also had a stretch where he was MIA at the end of the Green era. I'm not assuming he's going to be an $11.6M player from here on out because he's had a good stretch. I'm hopeful of course, but I want to see more. I think that's reasonable.

Been awhile since we had an easy game, even against a weak team. Have we turned a corner, or is it just that Hughes is back and seemingly healthy. Pettersson seems to be back as well. I guess you could call that turning a corner.

That’s like 75% of the offense we pay for so yeah I’d call a corner we are currently turning. Lots of season left and big game tomorrow. Time to put Utah where they deserve.

Sad fact is that Chytil missed almost an entire season to concussions. And if you look at that hit, it was on the numbers but not the head. But unfortunately his neck snapped back--and often that's enough to bring back the same concussion symptoms.

Oh well.....Raty is on fire in Abbotsford right now. And he's probably the 'next man up'.

yeah you could see the frustration with Chytl there, like not again. Not a hugely dirty hit, but still Dickinson was pissed about the game and delivered a needless hit from behind.

f*** man it’s nice seeing petey just look happy to be here again

I don’t know what changed honestly, was it the scoring, was it the media, did someone have a heart to heart with the guy?

Who knows, but he’s been completely different this month
From the Drancer interview on D&D, seems like the org had a huge intervention with Petey after the Beniers goal eventually culminating in the humbling press conference.
