Quick is such an inconsistent goalie. He's perfect for our team. Can play great but usually mediocre.

Everyone on our team fits

I'll never understand how Jim Fox comfortably judges the team when they play like ass but when Quick is a sieve, barely a whimper. The entire team is playing like shit.

You know at some point LA will make a game of it. But how many goals will they let themselves get down by before giving a shit? Why should we hang around and see if it’ll be enough to salvage the game?

Why? These guys are professionals.

I do agree this season's team is all about highs and lows. They need to learn how to play well on a consistent basis without relying on emotion. No team can rely on just emotion to play well over an 82-game season. It is exhausting. Some nights your a team has to be workman like and win because they are the better team.

I dont disagree, inconsistency is always a staple for this core. But to this extent this season?
 
At this point Thompson seems to be the one who would sit when Lewis returns.

4th line would stay the same, Lewis would slot in for Thompson.

Stats don't say the whole story.

Theres a reason hes never won the Vezina.

Hes an okay goalie.
 
at least the ice sorta started tilting the other way towards the end of the period

unacceptable handicapping yourself 2 goals to start no matter what happens
