Tocchet gets a pass from me. Look at our roster construction. This is all Allvin’s fault.

This is all Allvin. He’s been mostly bad than good. Shitty UFA signings that we have to dump assets for and rolling into the season with a light roster to improve later only to wait for the longest possible time and an injury to Hughes. And then standing pat at the TDL accruing cap space for f*** ALL.

His only good moves so far have been signing Lankinen and trading for Hronek. Even the initial Horvat trade was mid ASF.
I'm quite certain he's only action upon instructions from Rutherford/Aquilani.
The refusal to trade our prime ufas and instead chase a playoff spot that everyone can see we aren't getting should have alvin and company fired after this season
Not Allvin's decision. Aquilani wants playoffs.

I’ve seen enough. We should look to move off our UFA’s like Suter and Boeser at the trade deadline this Friday and recuperate assets where we can.

Doesn’t excuse not trying to trade for a Cozens or a Norris or literally any top 6 forward. Accrue cap space for what?

Why is Allvin obsessed with hoarding our prospects? Unless it’s Willander/D-Petey, everyone should be on the table. We’ve got Hughes right and an ownership directive right? WHY TF WOULD YOU STAND PAT.

What Allvin did this TDL is embarrassing. Jesus f***.

Hughes has now basically been gone for more than a month--and even when he comes back, he won't be nearly 100 percent.

Without him, they're a lottery team. And even if he's only 60-70 percent, they're probably still a lottery team. I'd rest him for most of the rest of the way. They need him back at 100 percent for next year.

They said the same about TG.

hey! I thought you said Lekkerimaki now too after seeing him string together some decent games ?

I have only watched about half of this game so far, but honestly the Canucks seem to be getting as many chances, if not more, as Montreal. They just can't get the puck across the line.

But the game was effectively over a long time ago. I don't know why you wouldn't take out Lankinen and save him for tomorrow?

I imagine he did try. Supposedly, every trade we attempted to make all season everyone asked for Lekk or Willander. So unless we were ready to move Pettersson, there wasn't a deal to be made without losing one of our best prospects.

That being said, there's a good argument to make moving Pettersson was the right move and we missed it.
