This period has been awful. It seems like every Kings game has had the same common theme this year. Come out the gate with energy, have some scoring chances (never bury them though a key point), abandon defense, give up a goal within the first 10 minutes, end the first period. Second period tighten it up a little bit more but still come up short. Come into the third to try and get the comeback which sometimes works sometimes doesn't. rinse & repeat ad nauseam. The only real difference from the first half of the season compared to the second half is we were able to comeback a lot of the time.
