Said 6 games before the series started, not changing it now. Worst case they lose this game and than lose in 7, we would be witness to the biggest gong show in sports
What is the biggest gong show in sports currently?

It’s amazing that a team with biggest fanbase and budget can’t win a single series. Something is wrong in the water. Or the coach is not bright enough.

Who is getting fired first Keefe, Dubas or Shanahan.

0-10 in elimination games
I was totally expecting a response like this. The past is the past and yet that’s all you guys dwell on. Streaks winning or losing are always meant to end. You guys always critique the players for being mentally fragile yet this fan base is 10x worse and it’s honestly f***ing embarrassing.

This is exactly what I'm talking about when I referenced some fans trying to gaslight other fans.

You can act like this all you want - 0-10 in elimination games is an abomination, an un-ignorable smoking gun that this team just refuses to dig deep to win anything. Literally unprecedented territory and you're trying to tell fans they're being "embarassing" for being worried about this. You're the one who's being unreasonable - not us.

The fact this organization still has the fan base it does is a miracle.
The fan base isn't what's f***ing embarrassing.

This board is honestly right about you guys. No wonder why I barely come here. Later

And it's not just that they've lost these games. It's the way they've lost them. But, is there a way to lose a deciding game that isn't so heartbreaking or disgusting? Or do we just want to win so badly that any loss feels that way?

Because I look at 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 as examples of a piss poor effort. Didn't start on time, usually got behind early, spent the whole game getting turned away at the blueline, forced to dump it in and not getting it back, swirling around the offensive zone waiting for better looks that never come, etc. They were all boring-ass, depressing-ass games that I never want to see again in my life.

And I look at 2013 and 2018 as games where we led going into the 3rd (or well into the 3rd) and should have held the lead, but didn't, and that's painful.

I guess we've never had a game where we had the doors blown off of us at least. Oh, what's that? You're old enough to remember 2001 and 2003?

But, serious question: can we lose a deciding game in a way that makes us go, "wow. good game. great effort. sucks how it ended. But f***, that was fun."

Or is it going to be a dagger to the heart no matter what?

This board is honestly right about you guys. No wonder why I barely come here. Later
Love you but you should have just let us trade you in '08. would have helped a lot.

If we get eliminated in round 1, I think all 3 get shown the door the same day.

Even if we’re eliminated in round 1, out of those 3 I wouldn’t mind Dubas staying. He’s finally learning how to build a team with the additions of O’Reilly, Acciari and Schenn.

They are getting eliminated. I really want to see Shanahan fired. He is f***ing useless.
