I thought the Kings went 0-28 a few years ago, or something like that.
 
Kopitar hasn't been himself.

Iafallo has been the lone consistent bright spot.

It's easy to key in on the top line though when secondary scoring is nonexistent.
 
What an abomination like we all predicted. I wonder if Blake, Luc and co still believe in the room? Trade half the damn team at this point. We know no one wants Brown and Kovalchuk. Kopitar, Doughty and Quick arent going anywhere either. I'd move everyone else though I'd be slightly more hesitant to move Toffoli unless the right deal came along. But Carts? GONE. Pearson? DONEZO. Trevor Hustle? ADIOS. Thompson? SAYONARA. Clifford. DOSVEDONA. Phaneuf, Fantenberg, Muzzin, Martinez, all fair game.

In the strike shortened season of 2012-2013 Kings started out the year 0-25, Carter scored a goal on the 26th Power Play like 10 seconds into it.

So they are close to that number.

The Islanders should present an opportunity to break it, but it is pretty damn ugly right now.

Kopitar is getting a bunch of minutes while his line is the only one producing, Shutting down the Kings is only shutting down the top line. I have no issue with Kopitar's play considering everyone else has been sucking ass, its not hard to see why he's being singled out by teams. Hes constantly getting triple teamed.

Personally, Id keep Martinez over Forbort. Agree with everything else.

He's old and soft and getting worse by most of those fancy advanced stats. Doughty likes Forbort as his partner so I'm ok with keeping him. But if someone wants him in the right deal by all means.

I can't remember the last great play Martinez made. He should have been traded a while ago but gets the pass due to jazz hands which is I guess the last great play he made.

If everyone is regressing at once, that's coaching.

I didn't watch to know any better but that would be consistent with everything so far. Only guys that looked worth a damn in all previous games were Iafallo and...yeah that's about it.

I don't think it's likely, no matter what the age, that 15+ players suddenly don't know how to hockey.

the only person using their brain and not just going through the motions is kovalchuk, iafallo is going through the motions but he does that at a higher speed than most, so he's effective

I mean, have you ever heard Doughty so confused and low-confidence as this morning's quotes from Rosen?

That's a huge red flag for me, but admittedly, I'm obviously looking for them so it could be confirmation bias.

I liked Campbell’s quote when referring to the Leafs.. “they have it all” and basically saying the Kings have nothing. Maybe that’s just me though.
