No call on high stick to Carts. Kopi slew footed right before Boston’s third goal.

Yeah, this team earned the loss but the refs blew two obvious calls.

Guess at this point all you can do is thank them for the tank.

They also missed Carter tripping Marchand right before Marchand went off for tripping Carter.

The Kings had 4 straight PP's in the second half of the game and killed momentum on all of them.

Must’ve been a collective decision by the leaders on this team. I hope whoever becomes the next head coach of this team instills the fear of God into these pricks.

Kopitar is still a good player, but Blake has hopefully come to the realization that we are never winning another cup with Kopi as the lead forward.

The cancelled practice makes me really, really mad as a guy who is apparently more emotionally invested than some of the players.

I'm praying it's because of the flu/sickness and not coddling.

And then another part of me wishes Blake just went in there and said practice is cancelled, go home and be with your families because this might be your last night in LA :sarcasm: :naughty:

That would be the best thing that could happen, if they moved 2 or 3 of the real long time guys like Carter, Martinez, Toffoli or Quick. I think the Muzzin trade kind of was kind of just the appetizer and the rebuild main course is on it's way. And we are going to find out real soon whether Kovalchuk came back to the NHL to win a Stanley Cup or to live in Beverly Hills and make $6m a year. If winning the Cup was the main reason then he should be gone by the deadline. If he's still around you have to figure he didn't want to live elsewhere. And I think there would be a market for Kovalchuk, I actually think he could still be a very productive goal-scorer if he were playing with a really gifted offensive player like Barzal. Kopitar just hasn't been a dominant offensive player this season, and Kovalchuk is not good enough to be the driving force behind a line anymore.

Quick suddenly gets ill , team cancels practice ... either they going to watch the NBA All Star Game or Quick is traded and the team is emotional

Or the coaching staff is scared that there is an illness going through the room and doesn’t want anyone near each other until they sort it out.

Also I like Racoon’s post above better and Blake told them to spend time with there family’s because it may be their last couple nights as a king.
