Add another 20 goal scorer to the team! Our Connor has scored!
I’ll be there on Tuesday! Can’t wait!Yup with way this team is playing and how tickers on weekdays can be cheap - Tuesday is a game I’ll be going to for sure
Most fun team I’ve seen in a long time. So much fun.
He’s awesome.I am just loving Frank. See him everywhere. Back checking like crazy. In front of the net. Much more active than he was his first 10 games. He is trending for sure.
I agree, has completely neutralized McDavid or Draisaitl on a backcheck multiple times. The entire third line has been very good IMO.I am just loving Frank. See him everywhere. Back checking like crazy. In front of the net. Much more active than he was his first 10 games. He is trending for sure.
Ignore the moron that said the above. This is not the normal Capitals team. This team is different...Afternoon start: Check!
Motivated opponent (who lost yesterday): Check!
Roflstomped rival yesterday: Check!
Charlie in net after a long break: Check!
Everything is set for an absolute stinker today. My only bet today is on the over/under for how many minutes I watch before turning it off in disgust. No panic here; you can't win them all. But I'd wouldn't be surprised if they are sluggish today...
He wasn’t what he is now but I wouldn’t say he hadn’t clicked completely. He went 22+26 in 69 (nice) games the season the Blackhawks non-tendered him. Pretty ridiculous to just walk away from a 50-point player who was a former top 3 pick and just 23/24 at the time.hes looking like an absolute steal
They might have done it to make sure they landed Bedard. He wasn’t what he is now but I wouldn’t say he hadn’t clicked completely. But hey, the Blackhawks are a dogshit organization that deserves nothing but misery so I’ll take it.
Sure, but just re-sign him and trade him if that’s the case. He signed a one-year deal with Washington so it wasn’t like he had people banging down his door. Or trade him before season’s end at the deadline if you know you’re going to tank the next season. Just piss poor asset management. The Blackhawks went too far in stripping it down to the bone and are paying the price for it now. They might have done it to make sure they landed Bedard.
Also, we have a very good coaching staff! At game today. First time in 2 years in person - picked a good one. Oil taking long stretches off from competing in the neutral zone or bearing down on D. Basically doing everything they can to mimic the 80s teams, but without the Cups.
That said - we’re hard to play against. So connected, so much trust between the players, and so much puck support. The pill moves so fast and unless you’re playing committed D, our collective effort Will expose you
Forgot to add the obligatory: Hail Carbs
Unless they totally tank the rest of the season I think he's got it locked up.Carbs needs coach of the year.
I'm very Happy they moved Protas back with Ovie and Stromer. Also, we have a very good coaching staff!
