My only Kings game I've seen at Staples this year was vs. Carolina. This first period reminds me of the 3rd period and OT of that night.

Their fourth line putting on a clinic. Yes, they're a faster team but they shouldn't be winning the cycle game this cleanly either.

It's not completely new. It's been going on for years. Been giving up goals in bunches for a few years too. They got their last coach fired. Stevens is more of a players coach, and they're still doing it. It's the players. They know their situation. They're not 8.

Actually no, shitty starts are new this year. Yes they used to give up goals in bunches, but they never used to give up all these goals with the first few shots of the game. They aren't prepared to start the games.

it would be so smart to start offloading contracts, trading for picks and prospect, etc
Who you going to offload that would help rhis team to be competitive?Unless it's Gabby or Kopi's contract or Browns it doesn't help this team to be competitive. You would've to add assets to get rid of those contracts.

And they couldn't finish games before. 3-0 late 2nd period lead at home with the division on the line against the Jets, and they couldn't get it done. The start, the middle, the finish, they've been inconsistent in each for the last few years. What's the difference? They've come up small in so many instances in so many games since Game 5 against the Rangers.

Talking about this year. They play fine in the third, again their starts kill them this year.

i'm talking of rebuild so don't say lewis is heart and soul blabla doesn't matter if we suck

get rid of these fine men
retool

id listen to offers for Doughty
if i'm getting 4-5 pieces for him, id listen

there's no point in having 1 stud D and 5 shitty Ds

when you can perhaps eventually have 6Ds that belong in the NHL (for example)

im just saying AS A EXAMPLE ok? before you angrily type away, understand the essence of what i am saying here

there's no point in having Kopitar + Doughty + Quick and a bunch of misfits

we've done it 3 straight damn years now, entering our 4th

we're just postponing the inevitable
