McMichael looks great! The problem with him, and the second line, looking great, is you can’t put him at 3C and put Lappy upstairs for a couple of games.

Also… we are about to be 4-1 with 4 straight wins. Even when on heaters not everything is going to be clicking perfectly. it’s ok. Lappy needs to work through this. Want to be a pro. OK. Be one. I trust he’ll get there despite how bad it looks right now.

DC has great high end food IMO. Otherwise, it's slim pickings. There are a few good things here and there (Julia's empanadas, etc.) but nothing you could call a regional cuisine

It's easily a vegan combo from an Ethiopian place for me as the standout local fare. DMV is a very underrated food area ... yes no nationally known staple akin to a cheesesteak but pretty great options at every different price point and vibe for almost any cuisine.

Always feels good to beat Philly, another great performance and win

Not worried about Ovi. He hasn’t been given many good looks and he’s known to be streaky. He could go on a 20 goal in 30 games stretch and chip away at the record. He’s got 150+ games left to score 40 goals.

Playing like a team which is more important. Teams of superstars rarely wins long term.

competition is good. Caps will give the opening roster a chance to prove they belong but there will be competition on back half whether it be Miro (or others) coming up, trades to improve the lineup, Leonard coming after college season, etc. But for now everyone needs to compete. Third line needs to figure shit out or management will (but not for a while).
