My parents are from the USSR and said it was actually common, and something that was supported if your wife was making mistakes here and there.
Yeah it's easy to say he's an ass or whatever, but I would just like to present the possibility it's a learned societal behavior. And not something much more darker.
But yeah anyways, I would give him a second chance.
Interesting, yeah it's very unfortunate it became a part of their society.
Pearson just shoves Doughty away. Doughty's lack of maturity probably never ceases to amaze his teammates.
LaDue was fine for a guy who looked obviously nervous. I don’t know anyone who considers him a top four yet. But he has more offensive upside than Folin, Forbort, and Gravel combined. Hopefully he’ll gain confidence with experience. If they trade him, so be it. At lest he breaks the mold of redundancy LA seems to have going on.
I would have done the same if Kopi was coming towards me for a bear hug.Pearson just shoves Doughty away. Doughty's lack of maturity probably never ceases to amaze his teammates.

Yeah. Not a lot happenin there. That was basically a hell yea push!

I don't see any malice, but I think he is maybe wondering why are you yelling at a bunch of Calgary fans.I don't see that as shoving him away at all. I see that as a '**** yeah' type of nudge. See teammates do it all the time in every sport when celebrating.

I would be if I was Pearson. Maybe I am being too hard on Doughty, but celebrate with your teammate and ignore the fans.
LaDue showed jitters, which is to be expected of a sort-of rookie playing his first NHL game of the season (notwithstanding the 20 or so games he played last year). I think once he gets comfortable, he could be the top 4 defenseman we are missing. There were parts of the game yesterday where he showed his dynamic skill set and ability to drive the puck from D to O-zone. I look forward to seeing more of him, and hope he can be the Voynov replacement (but of course there are no guarantees). If not, we have to work with what we got because I don't think we can land a Top-4 defenseman via trade. There are so many teams out there that are in need of a Top 4, and we don't have the assets to outbid them.
On another note, I was very, very impressed with Folin last night. I think he has really distinguished himself from the other non-Doughty, Muzzin, Martinez defensemen we have. Hopefully he keeps getting better.

Okay, that's fair. The guy needs to learn how to enjoy the boos.If I were Pearson, I'd understand why Drew is so over-the-top pumped after being a physical target, getting booed and jeered, having a rough start only to overcome and get two points and taking big part in the game winner.
