Uhh pretty sure Williams/Mitchell/Richards/Carter/RR/King/Nolan/Stoll/Voynov/Greene/Fraser/Penner/ Scuderi are not on the team. How is this the same team ?
You just made a great argument for why this is on the players. So you’re blaming Lombardi then?
Nobody here was pleased to see most of those names go, and a number of them would be irrelevant in today’s game.
The result we see today still resonates from Lombardi’s mistakes. Blake hasn’t put his stamp on this team, yet.

Someone on LAKI said it best. Kings gameplan is that of a doormat. Opponents just come in and walk all over them while the Kings do nothing back.Yes it's Lombardi's fault WHO CARES. He is gone and fired.
I care about right now. This team is Charmin soft.
Aren't you the one always hammering people about living in the past ?
We haven't even had a competent 4th line Center tougher then Fraser. Fraser was gone a while ago.
I guess the saving grace is that Calgary has only scored one. Darcy is playing very well.

He'd stumble and break his neck or something. When do we play Calgary again? Sign Denis Gauthier to a one day contract and let him run Tkachuk.
Man Colin Fraser. It's amazing what a perfect group that 2012 playoff roster was. As an aside I had no idea Fraser went on to do financial planning, pretty cool:

Lmao with our luck that's exactly what would happen. He'd stumble and break his neck or something.

I bet he could still throw a big cheapshot or two. He'd stumble and break his neck or something.

Looking back at our Championship teams they were all spread with toughness. So many of the guys were willing to stand up for each other. Richards, Williams, Mitchell, Regher, Greene, Penner, Fraser, Clifford, King, Nolan, etc.Yes it's Lombardi's fault WHO CARES. He is gone and fired.
I care about right now. This team is Charmin soft. Painful to watch.
