Meh, two teams are not on the same level and not in the same stage of progress. One is pushing for the cup, the other is pushing for golf. Result is hardly surprising.

Allvin and Moleman's healthy team watch is starting to become irritating. Their ways of conducting themselves and team affairs lately has a lot of Commando Dimbo vibes.

And that's really not a good thing.

Because they surrendered 5 points to him in 2 games, plus they prevented McDavid from playing 3 games.

So Draisaitl has opened up a 9 point lead on McDavid when it was originally just a 2 point lead headed into the game on Saturday.

Draisaitl having separation from McDavid in the scoring race was the main thing preventing him from being the Hart favorite.

Fragile, Broken team. Miller giving just enough effort to be a called a professional but mostly going through the motions. PA will end up either eating salary or adding a pick to the NY trade. Sad times.

Most of their top players could care less.....their bottom six is soft, small and slow, and can't generate a goal a month; and their blueline isn't even NHL calibre, other than Hughes and Hronek, and Hronek was horrible tonight.

So what's left to say? Time to start checking the 2025 draft lists.

The only game in the last 8 that Demko has been over .900 was the one he hurt himself in. Goaltending made the score tonight look a lot worse than it should have been.

Team response physically was atrocious. Letting Zadorov go was just such a massive mistake.

The more they lose the more the noise will intensify, and the closer we’ll get to a lopsided Miller trade. At this point I don’t even care if they get ripped off in a trade, I don’t like any players on the roster besides Hughes, Garland, and Sherwood. Get rid of Miller, get rid of Boeser, and use the rest of the season to see if Demko still has it or if they have to reevaluate their goaltending.

Team needs to be reconstructing to build around Hughes’ strengths. Build a more mobile defense and get faster up front. We’re going to lose the ‘better’ player(s), but maybe we’ll end up with a more cohesive team that can actually maintain an identity and work together.
