The wolves are out, call up Schroder and Corrado and send Ebbett and Barker to the KHL or Swiss A league

I feel it would be more valuable to give corrado some games let him see what nhl is like rather then being redundant with barker or joslin.

His linemates have been terrible.

No excuses, he needs to provide offense. Shutting down the opposition is fantastic, but the team will fail if he doesn't provide secondary scoring.

Of course it will fail worse if the the Sedin's can't provide consistent primary scoring.

Compltely disagree with the panel about Roy not bringing something extra to our offense.

PJ Stock and Glen Healy are both clueless in general. Healy in particular always makes these generalized anti-Canuck arguments, most often with little actual evidence to suggest he really watches the team.

Yeah, I always get the feeling nobody on CBC actually watches the Canucks. I enjoy TSN's panel much better, more informed opinions.

Omg CBC is garbage.

Stock is an idiot, as is Healy.

BJ Hack is a Canuck hater, clearly. Friedman, the only non former player of the bunch, is the only level headed one there. Healy is OK sometimes, but does have the tendency to lose his mind. Kevin Weekes is basically the special olympian of colour men.

Let's be serious though, what does Ken Holland know about building winning hockey teams.

All that matters is that Cody is gone :(

Would love to see Schroeder (who has earned it) and Corrado (we have injuries, give him a shot) get a call up. Nobody thought Tanev would fit the defense like a glove when he was first recalled, and look how that went.

I thought he had points in 5 out of 7 games since his return? I would consider that secondary scoring....

****in leafs leafs leafs leafs...

**** off all of Ontario

Agreed. Too bad CBC works for the Maple Laughs and so does TSN. Sad really. Play by play guy in the third even said "here comes kassian for the leafs up the ice".

Pathetic.

Yeah, but a line of Raymond/Kesler/Kassian does nothing for me (or this team) offensively. If Raymond was playing like he did before his shoulder injury (or whatever it was), then it would probably be fine. That's not a good enough second line right now.

Also said fans are too used to seeing the Canucks paint a Picasso. I'd have to agree with that too.

This.

No game is perfect. The W is what matters.

Roy has been good offensively, but has a pretty lazy back-check (or else he's just plain slow) most of the time. Only concerning thing for me with his play at this time. When he's back in the defensive zone he's been fine. Just the transition game.

They said he hasn't brought "that offensive pizzazz" and he has actually.

Thats what I was referring too.

The wolves are out, call up Schroder and Corrado and send Ebbett and Barker to the KHL or Swiss A league

Or to the local beer league. :sarcasm:

Could be possible with clinching tonight, hopefully we give our Top-6/Top-2 a rest.

I wouldn't quite go that far. Remember at the half way point of this season when the TSN panel was calling Jason Garrison the biggest free agent bust this season.

Different kind of analyst/media but I would put Ray Ferraro in that category too. Best colour commentator for sure.

Ferraro is a ******* tool, people in Trail can't stand that ********* tbh.

Also his wife is the real hockey player of the family.

Lol that is so sad. The partying. What a pathetic pathetic franchise

I don't like the media's constant focus on them, but I certainly don't think their fans partying about the team making the playoffs for the first time in 9 years is pathetic. Just a sign of an eager and excited fanbase. I remember Vancouver being pretty hopping when Harold Druken sent us back to the playoffs for the first time in several years back in 2001.

Am I right that the Canucks magic number is 3 points to clinch #3?

TSN, and CBC are stupid.

Sportsnet rarely talks Canucks, (They rarely talk anything other than Leafs) but they might be the best. (although not by a big margin) Aside from the odd guy like Freideman, McKenzie and Lebrun on the other stations.

Basically all Toronto media networks suck.

We need one in the West for us Western teams.
