Both compliment each other. Exactly. Now the bottom 6 isn't complimenting the top line. So it makes everyone's job harder no doubt.

Well this game is the top line's chance to hook their wagon to a 4th line that's actually doing something. Since the big money guys are dependent on guys that play 8 minutes a night, this game is as good a time as any to get back in the groove.

Carter's definitive return is still unknown and you can't rely on him to jump start this pathetic offense attack. Kings hired Pierre Turgeon as a offensive consultant. He helped, but I see a big tail off and the team reverting back to their old ways of struggling to score goals. The way I see it, this team when in the offensive zone, they grind too much and there isn't enough creativity to find open lanes to shoot the puck. Once you get more shots, there has to be players taking the right angles to get to the rebounds. The problem is this teams DNA is defense 1st. You have to create some kind of aggressive attack to score goals. Using the heavy forecheck against teams like the Sharks and Ducks, don't work because they are too strong on the back end. Against the Flames and Knights, a heavy forecheck is ineffective because those teams are too fast.

I think you underestimate the talent this team has. And Carter will be back next month or early March.

Kings do have the offensive players, the coach just isn't dressing them.

Defense is a bigger issue imo

again clifford has 2 points in his 12 games Brodzinski nothing in the last 11 At least clifford plays phyiscal and shows a effort like todays game prime example
