Doesn't mean anything
Exactly, I know the top line isn't doing hot, but I believe that if the bottom 6 is doing good then the top 6 has a better chance to do better.
If the bottom 6 can play a skilled game and wear the other team down by using their skill and speed , then the top line has a better chance to score on tired players.
If you want a more productive top 6, you need a quicker skilled bottom 6 IMO
The Kings losing an early afternoon game at home to a division rival and looking completely lifeless was totally unexpected.
Hey at least we can beat the Eastern teams. The Kings losing an early afternoon game to a division rival and looking completely lifeless was totally unexpected.
I don't think so.Is it time to break up Kopitar and Brown?
I don't know what Jokinen did to never leave the press box again, but the top winger on the team not scoring means nothing, and the 4th line wingers make or break a season? I simply can't agree with that.
That doesn't work the other way too? If you want a better bottom 6, the top 6 needs to do something? How do you know the top line wasn't the reason Jokinen/Brodzinski was helping the team win?
Iafallo has plenty of speed, but he still can't score, so he's basically Craig Johnson right now. He'd be a great 4th line winger.
Clifford gets soooo many chances and can never finish... frustrating.
Forbort is such crap I have no idea what you guys see in him.
Muzzin is crap too, yet somehow the defense is markedly worse without him.Forbort is such crap I have no idea what you guys see in him.
Hey...I totally get the criticism for the bottom six, but they aren't the reason for the losses just like they weren't the reason for the wins.
Everything is rosey and the team is contender until the top lines disappear then it's Clifford's fault. Cool.
