Doughty has no concussion history so hopefully he's OK. He looked ok but with the concussion protocol he went right to the room.

Rinaldo, another garbage player, concussed Doughty years ago.

i quit after seeing someone comment that the oilers should "target that shoulder" after kopitar got jammed

Technically his head was down but it was down the entire play. He didn't suddenly drop it. It was down already and Maroon chose that as the primary point of contact.

No one the Kings could trade for would ever replace Doughty, but having another top 4 defensemen could help patch the defense until Doughty for instance comes back.

I had forgotten he did have a concussion in 2010. But 2011 he went on ir but it wasn't due to a concussion according to the NHL.

You don't think the players themselves aren't thinking that? Why do we get upper or lower body injuries? That's basic sports. Attack at the weak point.

Yeah I went over to their board expecting to hear the tired lines about Bettman and the refs hating them but they know it wasn't a good hit. The debate seems to be about the number of games for a suspension, given that Maroon isn't a repeat offender.

Yeah, it would be ideal, but it's a cap league, and every other team is looking for that same top 4 defenseman.
