i disagree about schehceififeielfe not being his guy AT THAT MOMENT, but the reasoning for the breakdown is totally valid

marty loses his guy because he's puck watching but i believe he's in the right position given that muzzin is so far to the boards. rarely we see the kings without a defenseman at one corner of the crease. all this is cause carter stepped up for that hit, i think toff was lazy sliding up and wagner ended up in no man's land as a result

in that situation 2012 willie mitchell is knee down blocking the crosscrease and we're sitting pretty not even talking about this

I scratch my head how none of them figured that covering the front of the net would be a good idea.

It's an awful pairing. That was the defenses fault for puck watching the same guy. The only reason they blame Wagner is because the person responsible was further away from the man than him.
