So how many games in a row have they given up a power play goal?
We have to score some of our own pp. kings are still number 1 in league at PK. The goals are just as much about taking too many penalties per game. We can’t expect our PK to be absolutely perfect just to offset our horrible PP.

A lot of guys took the rest of the game off and it didn't help that the refs planned to gift this game to the sharks to begin with.

Honestly only thing I'm mad at is the uneven reffing. Evenly played game and we couldn't get the bounces past Jones. The chances were certainly there. Not that there's ever a 'good loss' particularly against a divisional opponent but that's certainly one of the better ones as our play has begun to trend up

The D in particular had a nice game.

would absolutely love for jones to get fined for diving there with 0:40 left

just wiped the f*** out and made a meal out of nothing

To quote Christopher Walken...that was crap!

The losses stacking up to Western Conference teams and division opponents is starting to worry me. The Kings won't play the Eastern Conference in round one-three of the playoffs.

I was going to say the only small consolation I have about that is we played well tonight and that chickenshit style won't make it to the playoffs, but the Kings have to figure out how to crack the teams that just want to play landmine hockey.

With the chances we had tonight, that's one of those games Brown refers to about streaks--sometimes when you're on a winning streak you win games you should lose, sometimes when you're on a losing streak you lose games you should win. I'm not saying that was necessarily a "should win" but we played well enough to, just didn't get the puck in the actual net when it was wide open after good work. I'd be more worried if this were a 2015-esque pattern of 'dominate but lose' but we've been good at converting high danger chances in general this year.

And of course the GWG was scored when Andreoff blasted Mitchell so what are you gonna do.
