If you told me that Miller, Boeser, Pettersson weren't playing tonight, I'd believe you.
I legit have not heard Pettersson's name this game.
Granted I'm half not paying attention, but still...

they would need to win a puck battle and/or move their feet to even have the chance to shoot the puckCanucks just don’t shoot enough. Plain and simple.
Right, it's their normal. But it's not normal for a Cup-aspring team. They absolutely can't play like this. That sounds like an obvious statement but I'm even talking about when they play well. They still play a low shot, low chance game. Like in the playoffs it was pretty bad but at the same time you got the feeling they were playing just about as well as they couldThis is their normal though. They played like this all last year and in the playoffs. I guess this is the system Tocchet loves - ride the PDO train and hope Demko can be Demko.
Pathetic strategy.
I mean I feel like you need to be as good as Barkov defensively if you want to make that your calling card as a #1C.Pettersson is absolutely a passenger. A very talented passenger, to be sure, but a passenger. That's how he plays. His saving grace is that he's so effective defensively. That's what staves off the passenger label somewhat.

It’s never going to work in the playoffs. They’re lucky they got the Preds round 1.Right, it's their normal. But it's not normal for a Cup-aspring team. They absolutely can't play like this. the benevolent explanation is that a flu bug has ravaged the roster
