I try to avoid these "general" posts, but the Bruins do look like they're lacking a bit in the desire department with the 2-0 lead after having fairly easily outplayed the opposition. It's the NHL and any team is capable of coming back from down 2. Got to try to bury another one early in the third to really get the game in their hands.

Foligno skates face first into a check, then wants to fight the guy? It's like the drunk that walks into you at the bar, says "oh, yeah?". Gets beat up, then his girlfriend yells at you.

Siedenberg of all people. And w/ Quaider begging. I hope someone pummels him.

Krug getting a little ahead of himself, anticipating the play before the puck gets to him.

Bruins actually playing with drive, emotion. Honestly, I think that ass kicking in Detroit is what the Bruins needed to really wake up.

Eriksson having a rough night with the puck.

That said, I bet he ends up with a goal. :p

Outside of that PP at the end, Krug had an insanely good period. He was seeing passing lanes everywhere. Such tremendous decision making in the offensive zone.

Bergy 8/8 on draws that period.

Overall, great game so far. Let's close it out.

I chalk that up to a bad shift and crappy ice at the end of a period. Sucks, but it happens. I agree, he's had an amazing game so far. He's everywhere, and getting good passes off.

With the BUS depleted, Foligno's probably their best player on the ice and he's trying to do what he can to amp his team up. No problem with that, and he picked his spot when Moose hit him cleanly. What happened after the refs separated them tho....dumb. Now you're off the ice for the rest of the game.

Right idea, wrong execution. At least he's on the ice and with his team. Horton is skating but couldn't be bothered to travel with his team, eh? Taking floating to a new level there, Nate.

It's a 10-minute misconduct. Still dumb, of course.

Wasn't Horts traveling with the team to Ottowa a couple weeks ago?
