How’s this for rational Sol, he’s injured, he’s older and the way the FO speaks of him, he’s likely part of their core... As for Cal, you must not have read what I posted. The kid is technical but has a stiff upper body that was exploited to a tee by the TML and if you really want to see his deficiency, just go back the last few games and watch how players specifically target his shoulders and how many times they get past him only to hit a post.. I’d rather take a chance with Campbell
Really? Every goalie has a weakness only time will tell how exploited he will get.

Wanna talk about weaknesses? How about Quicks, when a player holds onto the puck they will get him sprawled out and bury it across from him, or one timers where he's usually so committed that the net is open for a very poorly contested one timer. How about his rebound control as of late? Or how he has difficulty from shots from the blue line?

Every goalie has weaknesses. Let's see how Cal does for a prolonged period of time, the position is his for the taking since Quicks health isn't what it used to be. Moving his contract would be smart.

You really, really need to take your own advice here. For all the criticism you've levied on Quick over the years, the least you could do is gracefully handle some constructive criticism about Cal. Hell, i know you're excited for ANY goalie not named Quick to be in our net, but at least try to enjoy the best goalie in Kings history, and you SHOULD root for him from at least the standpoint of positive asset for trade.

Yeah, it's most important to see what happens when 'the book is out' on him. Look at Martin Jones' game completely evaporate.

Why do you even bother to comment about my takes on Quick? You're usually extremly biased in this matter as well, you get all Jim Fox about him.

I am rooting for his contract to get moved. I appreciate what hes done and acknowledge that he's the best Kings goalie in history, that doesn't change the present day facts..

Lets not get Mike Richards level of defensiveness where people would whine about how great he was when he was wasting away on the fourth line.

It's a business, Kings should be looking to get better in any way possible rather than say hey he helped us win a cup 5 years ago might as well let that fact hamper the progression of the team.

Let's stick to the present and the future. After all, Kings are dead last.

Quick let's in a goal within 7 shots.Kings lose 5-1. Unfortunately I get to listen to the Oilers broadcast team.

Time to change the channel for the next 2 minutes. I don't want to listen to Fox ramble on about whatever he saw over and over and over and over.
