Yeah. People have some unrealistic expectations. There are 32 teams in the league. To be top 5, you need to be elite. Vegas is the best team in the league. Canucks are between "good" and "very good" right now. There's a level that is the elite level that only a few teams can claim.

The Canucks are building in the right direction for a decent contention window for a few years. People forget that this is just the beginning of this FO putting their stamp on a team that was run by one of the most incompetent dolts in sports history.

If we finish top 10 i would be more than happy, if we finish 11 to 16 I will be slightly disappointed but not mad consider the management has done alot of good things this season already

I'm in a similar boat. A successful season for me is making playoffs (which I'm preeeeety sure we will do) and then put up a fight in round 1. Winning a round+ is gravy. Just start taking steps towards being a threat.
