I am less optimistic they can hang on with each passing game, especially with Carter being out so long. Just not enough depth to handle that loss.

Kind of a reality check that while it was a nice unexpected start to the year this is still going to be a multi-year thing for Blake to clean up the mess he inherited.

The nice thing is, the rest of the division is playing poorly too.

I'm sorry if pointing out the same thing for nearly three years is being unreasonable.The facts are this team isn't a contender as it sits.This team is playing against teams worse injury wise and lower standing wise and just straight up being beat and out hustled.Make up whatever excuses that makes or softens the reality.Love the Kings for a long time and hope they make the moves to be successful.

I think also Kings leadership took a hit when Kopi was named Capt and Williams,Stoll and Richards to a point were no longer in the locker room.Or could this be that Stevens is a great assist coach but not a great head coach and too much of a players coach?
