First real test of the season for the Canucks.......second half of a back-to-back after a hard, physical game in Beantown.

Then after playing the Pens, it's on to Buffalo on Friday and Detroit on Sunday--and both are basically morning games, at least in terms of Pacific time. And the marathon trip finishes up next Tuesday at the Excel Energy Center in Minny, which has been a house of horrors for the Canucks.

A win tonight and we will significantly move up in the standings. We are 5 games over .500 right now. Lets go to 6.

We are presently tied for 9th with 2 other teams, win this one and we are tied with one team for 8th.

Edit - ok will not move up significantly, but we lose and we move down. Would be tied for 12 with one other team.

Should be a much easier game on the offensive end tonight, just need to fight the fatigue (which shouldn't be too hard given how few games they've played).

Predicting a 5-3 game if Silovs is in. Petey line gets back to work at ES, Joshua gets his first, fourth line is rewarded for their defensive efforts, and Boeser nets one on the powerplay.

Sasson in for Hoglander is almost a given at this point.

Desharnais in for Juulsen? Although I do think Juulsen has been solid the last few games.

Juulsen is settling a bit - he showed last year that when he plays a bunch he can settle into a bit of a groove. I think if Desharnais is ready to go, unless Juulsen or the team have a real clunker, he’ll have to wait.
