Team looks completely flat, which is typical of them in afternoon games.

We have to muster more shots, but that counter has been very generous to the Panthers, frankly, since they're just lobbing everything on net.

Fox is just dead wrong. The Kings had 2 good shifts the entire period. The vast majority of the period was spend in their own end.

He made a very good observation earlier on about playing with control, though. Making simple breakout passes and just defending well. Honestly until those big chances towards the end of the period Florida was racking up worthless shots, it was a 2015 Kings corsi period for them. Hell, they ticked up the shot counter by 4 firing the puck at the side of the net from the goal line on one shift.

Yeah, that was a past Kings period in reverse. A lot of shots, a couple good, and nothing. Barely a shot, catch a break, and it's in the net.

Drew the penalty, but basically ineffective at 5v5. Easier to play in the O-zone than the D-zone. It'll catch up, unless Kuemper stays real strong.
