Boston was playing that like a do or die game. Superb goaltending got the win, but what I really liked to see is how hard the Canucks pushed back in the last 5 minutes of the game. Winning races to the puck and checking really hard, making it very difficult for Boston to mount some offence. So I'll call it a good road win.

Lankinen had a great start to the season, a little shaky, couple games and boom back at it being a stud.

If I were them I'd be pretty happy about the effort, you play this game 10 times and you probably win 9 of them.
They likely are not enamoured with the team's overall skill level / lack of finish, though.
no one is left from that team bar on lol. dash Marchand's brains against the boards and call it a day.
I was pretty much suffering from a heart attack since the start of the third period.

It took a couple months before Lindholm started playing well here in Vancouver.
I had the same feeling, mainly based on the goalie. When a goalie is dialled in like that they're obviously hard to beat but it compounds because the opposition knows it'll be near impossible to get one by.
Sometimes you just thank the Hockey Gods and your goaltender--not necessarily in that order--and move on.
One of the first game this year where I thought the Canucks struggled with the Bruins size and strength. It's something Allvin will have to think about addressing at the TDL.
So it's on to Pittsburgh and Sid tomorrow night. Hopefully Silovs can follow Lankinen's lead.

True. Still have issues with the 1a line though, even when Miller is back. I guess Suter continues to ride shotgun there, leaving Joshua, Blueger and Garland for a great third line, and some combo of Raty, Heinen, Hoglander (while still here), Aman etc... for the 4th.
