Strong road trip for the boys. Wonder if they will stay tonight and sleep and then travel tomorrow. They got to be tired. Tomorrow will be an off day regardless.

3-0 on a western road trip, won all games by 3+, never allowed more than 2 goals, Ovie scored 5 including his first hattie in 2 years and is now the outright NHL leader in goals. Caps move into 1st in the East (albeit still behind Carolina in P%), with the best goal differential in the east and only 3 behind Winnipeg for best in the NHL.

You couldn't have drawn up a better road trip... except for Ovie coming out unscathed. Ugh, why'd that have to happen now?!

The replay at about 30 seconds in that video shows it coming in mostly from the side and the knee buckles a little bit.
