for every bit of praise he heaped on doughty and quick, he was throwing low key shade at every other king

it's what he does best, minimize opponents and maximize his team. every time something goes wrong for the ducks, it's bad luck not a kings play. every time something goes right, it's the greatest thing since sliced bread

Most entertaining game this year by far.

Some bad luck for the Kings with the disallowed goal, that was going in mask off or not. But props to the Ducks, that team has every reason to pack it in and their effort is non-stop. Goalies were outstanding tonight.

I doubt either coach is happy about the high quality of shots allowed, however. Stevens and Carlyle are probably meeting at a bar later.
