that turned into a really good game

hard to be mad, they put forth a great effort

Amazing how good this team is when they are allowed to display some of their skills.
Very solid road trip.

In all seriousness, Kopitar is playing like a selke monster like hes capable of and Drew looks like a norris winner out there. Can’t fault Quick on any goals tonight and if they keep this up in april/may, we have a chance to make some noise. It’s gonna be real hard beating this team 4 out of 7 times especially when we get Carts back AND if we can get a solid addition by deadline day. Hockey is fun again!

Not even mad. Props to the Blues. Kings did really good. A bad goal, and missed chances by the Kings. Score could have easily been different. Hence I'm not mad. They did good. Lettuce win the next one.

Even Gaborik. Dude can be a monster in this style we're playing. Expecting things from Gabo..

Glad to see everyone is still positive. That was a monster effort vs. a monster team.

Sort of like the TO game, if it takes 6 games in 10 on the road without Carter/Gaborik/Clifford/Shore/Fantenberg, a phenomenal opposing goaltending effort, a few major missed chances, and a questionable GWG vs. a freaking phenomenal team to feed us a regulation loss, I'll take it.

We have a hell of a team. I'm loving it.

Edit: and give props to the Blues, that was a hell of a game by both teams.

Blues are just such a tough bunch to play against, rock solid in all area's of the game. Tack on the end of a road trip and it was gonna be a tough task to get points tonight.

Fun hockey game to watch, Drew Doughty joining the offense on the rush and taking the puck up the ice, what a concept :D

So am I. This isn't just a team on a good run. Teams like that fold it in late in the 3rd on the last game of a long roadtrip. They fought right til the end.

Yup. The 3rd period is proving to be our strength again this year. And I totally forgot about Gabo. Hope he’s progressing well.

Edit: Also nice to see pearson finnaly pot one in tonight. He was buzzing all night.

Gotta tip my cap to the Blues. Those games are always fun because of the intensity, but you don't get the cheap shots, scrums, and other garbage. Just good, tough, big boy hockey...

In my mind the two biggest missed chances were the Toffoli backhander that inexplicably missed the open net and Doughty shooting a one timer back into the diving goalie instead of into the open net. Oh well... Solid effort...

As much as I like Macdermaid, I miss Fantenberg. That's a huge loss on the 2PP unit. Muzzin isn't a natural quarterback, more of a shooter.
