Beat a good team while controlling most of the play. They sat on the one-goal lead for the last six minutes after the kings scored but overall this was an impressive outing. Can’t think of anyone who really had a bad game.

Only caught the third, and from the LA perspective as I’m in the US for a little bit. Kings commentators raved at the Canucks speed, togetherness, 50/50 battle win rate, and how they took all the time and space away from the Kings. Said they were doing what the Kings had been doing lately, but just better. All that matched the eye test in the limited game time I did watch.

Saw the replay of the Boeser hit. League is full of cowards, that’s the kind of nonsense that makes me never want to put my future kids in hockey. Department of player safety is a joke so it’ll barely get any games, because that’s how out of touch this league is.

I’ll let others do the full breakdown, but Petey looked a lot faster today in the limited time? Corresponded with him being on the ice with Hughes, so not a huge surprise that he’d look better in those minutes.

Oilers game is going to be a lot harder than this if Boeser is out. Sending my prayers his way tonight.

Really impressive win vs a good team. After going down 0-1 and losing Boeser we didn't give up anything catastrophic at 5v5. Needed some work and help by Lankinen on the PK, but it felt like the refs were giving it to us by taking Hughes and Hronek multiple times too.

Life signs from Petey with some really intense shifts. Needs to start stacking them up and taking the puck up ice like a true C but good baby steps.

Myers had a really strong game which helped Soucy (feels like an alternate timeline?) and really stabilized the D. VD looked like ass on the 0-1 goal but righted the ship next the Brannstrom - not the first time this happened this season.

Jake DeBrusk figuring it out has allowed us to cash in on the minutes we spend stacking Miller-Hughes. Also the Blueger line plays like a glove together, which gives Joshua a green light to eventually try to slide into the top 6.

If we miss Boeser for more games, I don't see how they don't call up Lekkerimaki to try to fill a top 6 hole.
