Anything Else: I am brand new to this game and also to following the Canes even though I grew up in North Carolina all my life. I started watching the Canes & Caps series and immediately fell in love with the speed of the game and also how physical the game is played. it kept my attention the entire time and really the only other sport that does that is NFL Football. So I was quickly hooked. The problem is I have pretty much no clue what is going on other than the team that scores the most goals wins. So here I am on this forums asking for help from fans to learn about this exciting sport and I will try and not to look too stupid in the process of learning.

Got back into watching games more regularly several years ago and hopped on the Canes train since I'm a fan of other Carolina sports teams (Panthers mainly). Quickly becoming a die-hard Canes fan with this group and have watched ~95% of games the past 2 years and will continue that. Went to the NYR home game before the break (first time at PNC, great experience tough loss) and I live in Boston now so been to every game the Canes play here incl. last year's playoffs (hate that team and this area's sports fans). Have really enjoyed reading the posts here, it's a great group that I'm looking forward to joining more regularly.
