GDT: Germany vs Canada, Group A; Dec 28, 2024, 7:30 Eastern

Canada has the blender out but it still feels like an old school approach which is about right with Cameron and Johnston.

The real key will be the PP.

I feel like Duthie doesn't fully understand the way the group is shaking out? Or not explaining it correctly anyways. He makes it sound like Canada is in a bad spot compared to the Americans somehow. A win tonight and Canada and the Americans go into NYE in a tie. Winner gets 1st and loser likely 3rd.

Fantastic tempo to start. Germans smell blood in the water and Canada playing like they have something to prove. This may be an all-timer for the tournament

I think he was approaching it from a standpoint of if Canada loses tonight.

Which is probably not the way to approach it because if they lose to Germany they have a lot more to worry about than whatever seed they may be in lol

I feel like Canada has a lot of will to get things going but i'm not sure they have the offensive tools to really dominate the game.

i miss the pre tournament team canada they didnt look world beaters but better then this lol

Not a fan of the Team Canada socks. Just doesn't go with the older Canada logo jersey
