Urbig can't hold onto the ball and Hollerbach equalizes!

In Urbig's defense, on the replay you can see him lose his footing a little when he first starts to move, keeping him from getting to the ball cleanly. Still a terrible mistake once he did get a hand to it.
 
We fail to steal it with the last kick of the game, but can't complain about getting 4 pts from Frankfurt & Bayern. Still 7pts ahead of the relegation playoff spot.

It's a little comical that Anton, being one of BVB's top signings last summer, is forced to play out of position because the team currently trusts Emre Can more at CB. Unfortunately he's even worse at fullback and I frankly don't know why he'd be starting over Bensebaini, assuming both are fit.

Stuttgart take the lead against Leverkusen after 15 mins, Demirovic scores from the rebound of Hradecky's parred save.

Earlier in the day, Frankfurt won to stay in the race for the CL spots.

But Woltemade scored Stuttgart's 2nd, don't understand why Leverkusen left him so free, he had 30 secs all alone gesturing for a pass to him. The Leverkusen defenders only reacted after he finally got the pass, but it was too late by then to try to close him down and prevent him from shooting.

Edit: Few minutes later Frimpong made it 2-1 after the ball bounced for him in a good spot.
 
B04 equalize and now 5 min extra time. Need all three points to keep the door to the league title even slightly open.

He may not be as funny as Crouch…”what would you be if not a footballer? Probably a virgin”…but he’s way more skilled with the ball & as a playmaker.

Fresh from his Germany U-21 hattrick, interesting to see how Woltemade's rest of the season goes. Have to try to watch him more in the BL.

Terrible international break for Bayern, Davies out with cruciate ligament and also Upamecano out long term. Should give renewed hope for the chasing team(s), but even more so in Europe. Inter probably now favourites to get past Bayern.

Woltemade and Moerstedt are a little confusing to me. They have the physical profile of classic #9s, but the tight area control & comfort on the ball of attacking midfielders. Woltemade's off-ball movement has developed much better than I thought it would and he's been finishing with great confidence.

I had a feeling a few weeks ago that Bayern would drop the ball, with the pillpushers starting to regain their late-game magic and no more CL to distract them, I think they have a good chance to close that gap and repeat.

Bayern won 3-2 (St.Pauli scored a very late 2nd goal), so nothing spectacular but not too much to worry about either. Musiala had a good match and Sane scored a brace to take his tally to 9, which is his best ever in the BL (he scored 10 in Man City a couple of times).

Also important win for MGB (without Kleindienst) , 1-0 over Leipzig, Sesko started on the bench for them and only came on after 63 mins, but couldn't turn the match around. MGB the better team and could have scored more, hitting the woodwork twice.

Woltemade (and Undav) start on the bench against Frankfurt, Demirovic starts up front. This is almost a must win for Stuttgart if they want to fight for a CL spot.
